OLD FASHIONED SUMMER FUN: Rainsticks
This is for my upcoming TV spot on News Channel 8 (WTNH) Good Morning Connecticut Weekend show, Saturday, July 19th at 7:23 am
These crafty rainsticks are not only easy to make, but they're super affordable, too. You can use old wrapping paper tubes, or head to your local stationery store for inexpensive mailing tubes. Then have your kids use construction paper, old scraps of wrapping paper, foam stickers, glitter, paint, pom poms scissors or even bits of yard and fabric to customize their tube. Once they're done, pour some beans into each tube, seal the ends, and start shaking.
